Payment / Refund & Other Policies

 Payment Policy:

Full payment is required before work begins on any personalized song package. Once payment has been received, your order will be scheduled and the creative process will begin according to the selected package and delivery timeline.

Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders will be honored at the price paid at the time of purchase.

 Delivery Timeline:

Estimated delivery times vary depending on the package selected, project complexity, and current order volume. Delivery timelines begin after:

· Full payment has been received

· The booking form has been completed

· All required client details have been submitted

Soul Soothing Music will do its best to deliver within the stated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to missing information, revision requests, technical issues, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.

 Revision Policy:

Revision availability depends on the package selected.

Revisions may include small adjustments such as:

• Correcting names or pronunciation

• Minor lyric changes

• Small wording adjustments

• Light arrangement or style refinements

Revisions do not include complete rewriting, changing the full song direction, replacing the entire vocal style, changing the chosen genre after production has started, or requesting a completely new song. Major changes may require an additional fee.

Revision requests must be submitted within 24 hours after song delivery. If no revision request is received within this period, the project will be considered complete.

Refund Policy:

Because personalized songs are custom-made digital products, all sales are generally final once work has begun.

Refunds are not available after the creative process has started, lyrics have been written, music production has begun, vocals have been recorded, or the completed song has been delivered.

A partial refund may be considered only if:

• Work has not yet started.

• The client cancels within the allowed cancellation period.

• Soul Soothing Music is unable to complete the project.

Refunds are not issued due to personal taste if the completed song follows the details provided by the client and the selected package.

 Cancellation Policy:

Clients may request cancellation within 24 hours after payment for normal delivery and 4 hours after payment for express delivery.

If cancellation is requested after work has started, Soul Soothing Music reserves the right to retain part or all of the payment to cover time, planning, writing, production, administrative work, and creative services already completed.

 Usage Rights:

Clients may use their personalized song for personal purposes, including:

• Weddings

• Birthdays

• Anniversaries

• Memorial services

• Family celebrations

• Private sharing

• Personal videos

• Social media posts

• Personal keepsakes

The client may not resell, redistribute, license, claim ownership of the master recording, or present the song as their own original commercial work unless commercial rights have been purchased or agreed upon in writing.

 Commercial Use & Ministry Use

If the song will be used for monetized YouTube videos, streaming platforms, public ministry releases, church albums, advertising, brand promotions, or any commercial project, the client must request the appropriate commercial or ministry usage license. Commercial use may require an additional fee and written agreement.

 Copyright & Ownership:

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Soul Soothing Music retains copyright ownership of the musical composition, production, arrangement, and master recording.

The client receives a personal-use license to enjoy and use the song according to the selected package and agreed usage rights.

If exclusive rights, full ownership transfer, publishing rights, or commercial release rights are desired, these must be discussed and agreed upon separately in writing.

 Client-Provided Materials:

Clients must only submit materials they have the right to use, including poems, lyrics, messages, recordings, photos, videos, or written content. By submitting any material, the client confirms that they have permission to use it and that it does not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, or legal rights. Soul Soothing Music is not responsible for claims arising from materials provided by the client.

 Privacy & Personal Information:

Soul Soothing Music respects your privacy. Personal stories, names, memories, and event details shared during the booking process will be used only to create your personalized song and communicate with you about your order. We will not sell your personal information. Client stories or song samples will not be publicly shared without permission, unless the client has provided consent for testimonial, portfolio, promotional, or sample use.

 Testimonials & Portfolio Use:

With client permission, Soul Soothing Music may share testimonials, feedback, short song samples, or project descriptions for promotional purposes. Clients may choose to remain anonymous if they prefer.

 Sensitive Events:

For memorials, tributes, and emotionally sensitive occasions, Soul Soothing Music will handle each project with compassion and respect. However, clients understand that music is deeply personal, and emotional response may vary from person to person. We will do our best to create a song that honors the information and tone provided.

 Communication:

All communication should be handled through the official contact method provided by Soul Soothing Music. Clients are encouraged to respond promptly if additional details are requested. Delayed responses may affect the final delivery timeline.

 Digital Delivery:

Completed songs are delivered digitally through a download link, email attachment, or another approved digital delivery method. Clients are responsible for downloading and safely storing their files. Download links may expire after a certain period. Soul Soothing Music may not be responsible for replacing files after an extended time has passed.

 Add-Ons:

Optional add-ons such as instrumental versions, express delivery, printable lyric keepsakes, dedication messages, or any requirement that is not included in the booked package may be available for an additional fee. Add-ons must be requested before or during the production process. Requests made after project completion may require a separate order.

 Express Delivery:

Express delivery may be available depending on schedule and project complexity. Express delivery speeds up production time but does not remove the need for the client to provide complete and accurate information. Delays caused by missing details or late client responses are not the responsibility of Soul Soothing Music.

 Creative Direction:

Soul Soothing Music will use the client’s booking form and selected package as the creative guide. The client understands that custom music involves artistic interpretation. Exact matching of another artist’s song, copyrighted melody, famous vocal style, or protected production style is not guaranteed and may not be legally permitted.

 Refusal of Service:

Soul Soothing Music reserves the right to refuse or cancel any project that includes offensive, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, illegal, deceptive, or anti-Christian content.

If a project is refused before work begins, a refund may be issued. If work has already started and the client later requests content that violates these standards, cancellation may occur without full refund.

 Limitation of Liability:

Soul Soothing Music will make every reasonable effort to provide a meaningful and professional custom song service.

However, Soul Soothing Music is not responsible for indirect losses, event disruptions, missed deadlines caused by client delays, technical issues outside our control, or emotional dissatisfaction when the project was completed according to the submitted details and selected package.
